The Beer Tree is a magic tree on the banks of the River Cam. Once a
year the Beer Tree bears fruit — beer! By a lucky concidence this
usually occurs during the Cambridge Town Bumping Races! Every year the
thirsty rowers of the bumps donate considerable amounts for
charity.
The 2018 charity was, as always, suggested by the rowers, and once more we supported the Milton Children's Hospice. A sum of £6001.82 was raised. This mean amount raised for all charities, over the lifetime of the Beer Tree now exceeds £50,000.
If you would like to support the Tree in 2019, please contact the brewery.
