The Beer Tree is a magic tree on the banks of the River Cam. Once a
year the Beer Tree bears fruit — beer! By a lucky concidence this
usually occurs during the Cambridge Town Bumping Races! Every year the
thirsty rowers of the bumps donate considerable amounts for
charity.
The 2009 Beer Tree charity was the Arthur Rank Hospice, for whom we raised £2800.
The 2010 Beer Tree charity is the Milton Children's Hospice. We raised over £4000. Since the first flowering of the beer tree we have raised over £17,000 for deserving causes.
If you would like to support the Tree in 2011, please contact the brewery.
