The Beer Tree

The Beer Tree is a magic tree on the banks of the River Cam. Once a year the Beer Tree bears fruit — beer! By a lucky concidence this usually occurs during the Cambridge Town Bumping Races! Every year the thirsty rowers of the bumps donate considerable amounts for charity.

The 2008 Beer Tree charity is Macmillan Cancer Support.
